Striping Service

WHY LINE STRIPING MATTERS

Faded lines and sloppy layouts don’t just look bad — they create confusion, risk, and liability. We use commercial-grade paint, precision gear, and seasoned judgment to give your lot a professional look and a functional edge.

WHAT SHOULD WE DO TO PREPARE OUR PARKING LOT FOR LINE STRIPING

Have any plant material, leaves, dirt, gravel or debris removed from the parking lot prior to the line striping contractor's arrival. The area to be striped should be clean, washed if necessary. Your landscape maintenance service can take care of this. The striping will come out better and cost less overall.

CAN YOU STRIPE A NEWLY PAVED OR SEALCOATED SURFACE?

It’s important to allow proper curing time for the best results. For new asphalt, we recommend waiting at least 30 days before applying striping to ensure the surface has fully cured and hardened. This allows the material to settle properly, preventing any damage or uneven application of the paint. For freshly sealcoated surfaces, a shorter wait time of 24–48 hours is usually sufficient, though this can vary depending on weather conditions such as temperature and humidity. Always ensure the surface is completely dry before proceeding with striping to achieve optimal adhesion and durability.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I RESTRIPE MY PARKING LOT?

Most parking lots should be restriped every 1 to 2 years, depending on factors like traffic volume, weather conditions, and the amount of wear on the surface over time. High-traffic areas or regions with extreme weather may require more frequent maintenance to ensure the lines remain clear and visible. Faded or worn-out lines not only reduce visibility but can also create safety hazards, cause confusion for drivers, and potentially lead to compliance issues with local regulations. Regular restriping ensures your parking lot stays safe, organized, and easy to navigate for all users.

HOW LONG DO PARKING LOT STRIPES LAST

The majority of parking lot stripes will need to be re-striped each year. If a parking lot receives more traffic than average, it may need to be re-striped every 4-6 months. As mentioned above, extremely hot or freezing temperatures can cause stripes to fade or crack sooner than anticipated.
